The Elizabeth II Exhibit-30 Years of History tells the story of the construction of the Elizabeth II- from framing to launching included in the exhibit are photos of the building of the ship, blueprints of the Elizabeth II and various artifacts pertaining to the ship. The film By Our Hands will be showing which tells the story of the building of the ship and offers interviews with the shipbuilders. Letters and drawings that children have written after visiting the ship are also on display. Admission is free. Open daily 9-5 at the Outer Banks History Center Gallery at Festival Park in Manteo on Roanoke Island at the NC Outer Banks. The exhibit runs now through December 31, 2013.
