A new weather service is available to help visitors that travel the Blue Ridge Parkway in the winter season. The weather site monitors the weather on the 469-mile Parkway from Waynesboro, Virginia to Cherokee, NC. Along with a live weather report the site will have a 7 day forecast and reports of weather conditions that cause closing of the parkway for winter related weather conditions. Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team Plays Today
Today at the Durham Athletic Park (the DAP) the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team is playing a double header. The first game is at 12 PM against the Durham Public Safety All-stars. At 1:30 PM the second game is against the Celebrity All-stars. A $5 donation is greatly appreciated for admission. Should be two great games.
