Artifacts from Blackbeard’s ship the Queen Anne’s Revenge are on display at Tryon Palace in New Bern until February 15, 2014. Relics on displayed include cannon balls, nautical tools, and a wine bottle. The exhibit shows what life was like on the ship. The shipwreak was discovered by divers in 1996. Queen Anne’s Revenge ran aground in 1718 in the Beaufort Inlet. The NC Maritime Museum in Beaufort loaned the artifacts out to Tryon Palace.
