Punkin Chunkin 2013

Coming October 26 and 27, the 5th annual Punkin Chunkin 21013 in Brasstown, NC (Clay County). From 10-7 on Saturday and 12-6 on Sunday. Food, vendors, games, crafts, airplane rides, a zip line, and music. A pie eating contest and a chili cook-off.  Fun for all!

Take a Trip and Travel NC This Weekend!

Take a trip NC! The sun is going to be out all day Sunday-first time in 2 weeks! Pack the bags and hit the roads of North Carolina. The National Parks are open, the visitors centers, the campgrounds, the picnic shelters, and the bathrooms! The fall foliage show in the mountains is gorgeous. The fish are biting at the coast. The State Fair is open and full of fun and great food. Get out there and enjoy this weekend and stay safe!

Tar Heels Lose to Miami

The UNC Tar Heels lost to the Miami Hurricanes 23-27 tonight on Zero Dark Thursday in Chapel Hill. It was a good game and they almost pulled it out but the Hurricanes scored a touchdown and Carolina couldn’t get in another score before the game ended.
